A Split Queen Adjustable Bed Base is made up of 2 Adjustable Beds that sit side-by-side. Each bed measures approximately 30" x 80" and may be operated independently or together as one unit. When placed together, these units measure approximately 60" x 80", which are the same dimensions as a Standard Queen Size bed.

A Split Queen Adjustable Bed Base is compatible with both a Standard Queen Mattress and Split Queen Mattresses. Split Queen sets are a great option if you have limited living space. They take up less room than a Split King size adjustable bed set and offer the same functionality. Most Split Queen sets are also much easier to move in and out of your home.

Typically most retailers will carry the Split King and Split California King sizes. However, we have found that the Split Queen size is usually a special order item. Most retailers will not carry this size adjustable bed base onsite. After much searching we have located several adjustable bed bases that are available in the Split Queen Size. Browse the links below to view some of the available options!

The Zero Gravity position is meant to mimic the feeling of weightlessness. The adjustable bed lifts the head, as well as the knees, to a similar position that astronauts use during liftoff. The feet also lift to the same level as the heart. In this position your body weight is evenly distributed which helps to relieve pressure from the spine. Zero Gravity sleeping can improve medical issues and day-to-day life.

What are the benefits of Zero Gravity?

  • Improve breathing

  • Snoring relief

  • Improve blood flow and circulation

  • Decrease back pain and swelling

  • Reduce pressure points

What is Anti-snore?

An anti-snore position elevates the head approximately ten degrees. Just like zero gravity sleeping, it can help battle severe snoring. Implementing the anti-snore position can also alleviate sleep apnea and other various sleeping disorders.

How do I know if an adjustable bed can adjust into these positions?

Most adjustable bed bases that include full head and foot movement will easily adjust into the Zero Gravity and Anti-Snore positions. Many adjustable bed bases will also include a Zero Gravity and Anti-snore preset position that is programmed into the remote. If your bed base includes this preset then it will automatically adjust into either position at the touch of a button.

There are many different mattresses that are available today. When choosing a mattress, you need to find one that suits your specific needs. To start, go with the basics and work your way up to find the best fit. We'll start with the our mattress ABC's to get started!

Area

Its hard to know what type of mattress you like if you've never tried anything out. It's time to get off of that 20-year old mattress and try something new! Check out some local stores in your area and see what's available. Even if you've shopped locally, you may want to consider shopping online. Don't be shy when it comes to world wide web. There are tons great deals online that you may not find at your local store.

Brand

The Mattress and bedding industry is extremely competitive. Always stick with brand names that you know. This is extremely important when you are considering Mattresses and Adjustable Beds. Some of the brand names that we recommend are Reverie, iDealBed, Serta & Simmons, Restonic, Purple, and Tempur-Sealy.

Comfort Level & Size

The next thing to consider is the comfort level of your mattress. In general, back and stomach sleepers will prefer a medium or firm mattress. A medium to firm mattress will provide proper support and ensure that the spine stays properly aligned. Side sleepers will often prefer a medium or soft mattress. Side sleepers need a softer mattress that will properly contour to the curves of their body and keep their spine aligned throughout the night. Using the proper comfort level mattress will ensure that you get a good night's sleep.

Before buying a mattress you may want to consider the size you will need. Is it time to upgrade to a bigger mattress or settle on something smaller? Mattresses come in a wide variety of different sizes. Whether you sleep alone or with a partner, it is good to become familiar with the industry standard dimensions. Look below for more details.
